My highschool/college ride. I don’t miss having to constantly pull the EGR and clean out the bits of carbon that caused it to stick open.
Side note: Can any of you still remember how knobs/buttons/switches felt on cars you don’t own anymore? If I close my eyes and imagine my past vehicles and I still feel how it felt to shift or turn the lights on or open the door.

You didn’t just nix the EGR?

I know exactly what that interior feels like. I learned to drive in a GMC S-15 which had an almost identical interior.

I still feel how my first car (NB Miata) felt, especially since my dad bought one. It even smells identical, for some strange reason. But I remember the exact smell from the original.

I tried, it was the first vehicle that I paid for so I babied it.

Yeah as long as you have a knock sensor. Removing it increases the chance of detonation occurring because of compression, but when mine started acting up, I just plugged all of the holes.
